Robert Cordileone – Producer

 

Robert Cordileone is a producer of filmed entertainment with credits in motion pictures (Mathias, Burning Mussolini, Crossing Nirvana); television series (Les Trésors de la Petite Nation); web series (Claddagh); and documentaries (Test Drive) – both in front of and behind the camera. Robert’s career began in his family’s accounting business, which later led him to a position with one of Quebec’s leading labor unions negotiating contracts, salaries and social benefits for 6000 members of his own local. After 8 dedicated years, Robert left to pursue his life’s passion – the film industry.
Robert learned the ropes by having a hands-on approach, rising quickly from intern to production assistant to 1st assistant director. Most recently, he co-produced a documentary film (Remembering a Teacher) with Quebec filmmaker Annie Coutu. Robert’s accounting and contract negotiations skills were such valuable assets to the production, that he knew he had found his niche in the industry.
Presently, through his company Cordileone Productions, Robert is developing several film and television projects, including a feature film script he’s co-writing which is being tracked by one of the Hollywood’s talent agencies. His competency in all aspects of the production process – from initial stages of researching to the physical organizing of the production makes Robert Cordileone one of Canada’s emerging producers to keep an eye on.
