Carl Marotte

 

Born in Trios-Rivieres Quebec and raised in Montreal, Carl started his acting career at the tender age of 12, when cast out of the famed Montreal children’s theatre by the N.F.B. for the short film “All the years of her life”. He went on to study at the Dome theatre school in Montreal, graduating in 1979. Since he has appeared in dozens of films, alongside Sharon Stone, Mary Tyler Moore, James Garner among many others. Nominated for 2 gemini awards he is also the star of one of the longest running shows in Quebec television history, “Lance et compte.”
